The gift of Helen's 100kg lift!
Helen has been Personal Training with Hugh since June, 2012! Though she was a regular to the Group Fitness Classes, Helen was quite apprehensive to start Personal Training as it was out of her comfort zone. Now, one and a half years later, Helen is lifting 100 kgs!!
When starting Personal Training, Helen’s original goals were to be fit & healthy, and to also ‘look good’ for her daughter’s wedding.
Over the past year and a half, Helen has dedicated herself to Personal Training with Hugh once a week. In this time Helen has come a very long way with her training. Her most recent Personal Best may leave some of you in awe! A 100KG DEADLIFT!
There is no wonder why we refer to her as the ‘Deadlift Queen’ of Cityfit! On top of this, Helen has made many other outstanding achievements including other strength movements and core strength. She has also achieved 764m in 3 minutes on the rowing machine!
As well as attending Personal Training once per week, Helen also attends regular RPM classes and has recently joined Cityfit’sSmall Group Functional Training Program which is a new challenge she is really enjoying!
Helen’s goals for the next 12 months still remain quite simple; to remain fit and healthy. She also wishes to achieve a 120KG deadlift, 100kg squat, and 60kg bench press!
